Happy Mother’s Day!
To all the women who are.
To all the women that almost were.
To all the women who are not.
There is something special about women. A nurturing quality. An ability to care, gently and graciously, that sets us apart. Women soften the edges of a jagged world. They provide a safe place to land.
To all the women today mourning the loss of a child…desperately praying to have a child…we celebrate you too. We celebrate your mothers heart. Your mothers touch. We celebrate your passion for life.
Thank you Mothers in the blog world that have taught me so much! I appreciate you all!

Thank you, and I hope yours was good also (I’m sure it was).
This is the first such ‘wish’ I don’t feel obligated to ‘qualify’ to people just assuming it must apply.
In my lifetime so far, I haven’t had a ‘celebration’ in my honor for this day (maybe Nick’s hoping it will drive me to become a real one??), but I did get a nice nap with the dogs after church anyway =}.

Yesssss….I’m DEFINITELY taken advantage of putting my feet up today! I’ve barely had to do anything thanks to my wonderful husband!
