pimp my post
fridays here have become my new “google reader”. i love pimp my post. and im so glad you all participate. thank you!
if you dont know, this is what you do… simply leave a link in the comment section below to your favorite post youve written this week. if you have a post in mind that another person wrote, you can leave that one too, but probably in another comment so spam doesnt eat you up.
i hope everyone had a great week and has a wonderful weekend!
im thinking of making sunday naps a tradition around here even though i never quite recover from them. and, ive also thought that only old people nap
but it seems everyone is doing it!
do you nap?

Nothing “pimp” worthy this week, but another from last week I kinda enjoyed BOOHOO’in to
http://www.whatsthislifefor.org/?p=1669
Oh, and you were right…..only the elderly take naps
Um, heck yes I nap. It’s kind of a running joke between Russ & I – and something that has been ingrained in me since I was little. Naps are for winners, Tam.
I don’t let myself nap during the week, though – mainly because my commute requires me to wake up REALLY early & I can’t get enough sleep at night if I nap when I get home.
So I drink a Redbull Cola. Or an acai energy drink. You know, to keep the afternoon doldrums at bay.
Here’s my post: http://eloranicole.wordpress.com/2009/09/23/reticent-followers/
I actually wrote a post this week for the first time in, um, yeah…anyway…
Here tis… http://www.shapingthespace.net/2009/09/scaffolding
I am not naturally a nap person, but since I’ve radically reworked my timetable, I tend to take naps in the evening…like from 9pm to 11pm or something like that. Then back to bed by 2am.
Just depends what I want to get done really. A Sunday afternoon nap is luxurious though – we only have around 3 hours between services, so if we get to sleep for some of that, it is bliss.
I’ve just come from reading that post on bloglines. Made me think…and wondering if I might be scaffolding….

Oooohhhhh…naps. I love naps. I’m such a good napper. I mean, I may not be able to dance or speak several foreign languages, but my napping skills? They rock.
Of course, these days naps are few and far between. But when they happen? Heaven.
I’m pimping my own post this week. I wrote about my grandpa, who died of cancer 15 years ago, and what our family does to remember him: http://www.givinguponperfect.com/2009/09/lighting-night-fighting-cancer-and.html
Here’s mine: http://mandiesmumblings.blogspot.com/2009/09/slight-misunderstanding.html
and I am ALL for naps- the longer, the better!
This week i posed the question of why it is so hard to just put it all out on the table http://www.lynseleanne.com/blog/2009/09/22/on-the-table/
Oh, and i nap…ALL THE TIME. really any time that i can. Sunday afternoons are the best! but really, i nap every day after work and before Chad gets home…so i am recharged to hang out with that crazy man!
I was gonna save this till today, although it happened on Sunday
ENJOY… I know I did

I like to naps! Except I don’t like them when I have to wake up earlier than I want.
I also love to run, which is what my post is about: http://bahava.wordpress.com/2009/09/25/i-can/
unfornately I cannot take naps… because I will then not sleep when I am suppose too. But I go to bed so early and wake so early. Soo.. I am usually good.
I love my Sundays afternoons. I reserve them for my girlfriends, either over some sushi or a chai or an email or phone. It’s my down time.
Hmmm… I am just starting back up. I am preparing for a week of blogs about my vacation that I just had… exciting
Here’s one I wrote this week:

thoughts on kanye, mike vick, judging, and second chances.

I nap for a few minutes just about everyday.
This is my favorite one. I made for my husband.

I finally got a new post up here:

Naps – wish I still had time for them, and , by the way, I’m needing one right about now too!!
D-
I am pro-nap. However, I always end up staring at the ceiling all night, unable to sleep if I actually take one.
I have to pimp Mo’ s post over at Joseph’s blog:

I do nap. Most definitely. Love to sleep.
I haven’t been on the blogosphere in some time. My Reader is piled to the sky. (Hi, by the way!) I posted … well, a week ago. But that’s gonna count, just between me and you.
What’s Your Credentials?
About the purpose of pain.
I’m learning to count my blessings…even the most unexpected:

Love you, TammyJo!
Oh…naps…every. single. day.
That is all.
Loving the “pimp my post” idea – and guilty for not having been past your blog for an age…

I have nothing to pimp. Just want to say the concept of this being your reader is PURE. GENIUS.
