its that time of year again…
where some of us get to give even more money to our government. better yet, some even get sum
of their money back…then they take that and make a real big costco run!
brent and i have not had good luck with taxes. we’ve always ended up paying. perhaps our returns were done wrong…im not exactly sure. ok, maybe i am. but i have to share with you all the experience we had last year. our friend chad was our tax guy last year. and he rocked our socks off! we know him from twitter, hes a blogger, met him in nashville, he lives in california, we live in oregon, yet he still did our taxes. he scoured our returns. left no stone unturned. he worked for us and got us back every penny that was due. we were totally blown away! he was so thorough and easy to work with.
why do i tell you this? cuz if you dont have someone you trust to prepare your taxes, i highly-highly-highly suggest you get a hold of chad!
chad did not ask me to write this post. in fact, he doesnt even know im doing this. but i believe in his services. so…give him a ring. you will not regret it!

Mmmmm, Jake did ours today. We have about twice as much taken out of his pay than we should, so we always get back a nice number. AND, now we know wil are for sure coming home for a (small) visit this year. In May. And hopefully it’s only two weeks. LOL Relieved to know so we can plan it out now.
wil are? WE ARE for sure…..
Nice…a very very good tax guy is HUGE…
I have a bagillion deductions every year due to travel etc. and without a tax guy things would be missed.
What is crazy is that people will opt not to use a tax person (not a corporate like HR) to try and save a little cash. Reality is..the online services and stuff miss things you could write off. They are good for really simple taxes but if you have anything going on in your life…guys like Chad are critical.
Plus they help you avoid audits!
thank you, thank you, thank you, love you, love you, love you…. =)
