pimp your post
February 18, 2010
it seems like forever since we’ve done a pimp your post friday. im so out of the loop i dont know where to start these days. im looking forward to posting next week about my time in nashville and california. lots of great stuff. fun pics. funny stories.
in my absence, i confess, i let my google reader pile up. i really dislike allowing that to happen. so, please dont judge me, but im wiping it out and starting over. its just too overwhelming.
for now…please leave a link to one of your favorite posts, yours or someone elses, from this past week. id love to catch up on your faves!
and….its good to be back! ive missed you all!

you’re not the only one. When I opened up G.R. this past week and saw the number next to the all items I totally panicked too. hehehe Sometimes starting with a clean slate is just needed
Oh so many posts to choose from.
I think the one I would choose to ‘pimp’ would be the one I did on Wednesday called Lent because it links to my new blog.
Notice how I pimped my entire new blog in one comment. I’m kind of gifted/devious that way. Thank you.
SB
P.S. In case you missed the subtlety, come visit my new blog FISH for Lent.
I added Fish for Lent to my Netvibes tab of blogs. Looking forward to reading and hopefully growing.
Welcome back Tam! we missed ya!
Haven’t blogged much lately…..not much time to formulate thoughts….One that didn’t take much thought though….

Sorry. Still no fire.

My latest for worship song!
Glad to meet you guys in person last week! I have to say. I like you better now!
P.S. (can I pimp two?)
This is our featured song at The Worship Community. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE if you have any say in your church’s song selection process please prayerfully consider using this one (mine too…but this one first!!)
Trent is an amazing songwriter/worship leader and we’re trying to share his music with as many churches who can use it!

I love that your back Tam!!! Missed Ya!
I blogged about a recent first step for Russ & me: http://eloranicole.wordpress.com/2010/02/16/first-steps-2/
kinda exciting. kinda nerve wracking. all-together pretty stinkin’ cool to know God will be working through some brick walls.
What a cool idea! My google reader is getting out of control as well. I am new at this whole blogging thing but I absolutely love it! I am learning so much from reading what everybody has to say. I wrote my first guest post today http://www.christopherhopper.com/2010/02/last-seat-in-lifeboat/
Basically, if there was one more seat on a lifeboat, what would you say in 30 seconds that would convince them to give it to you…
One of my own, I just wrote this yesterday and then at our Community Group for church last night the theme was brought up again. Told my husband last night I’m hearing God’s voice a lot easier lately. Here’s the post: http://www.prudychick.com/2010/02/preoccupied-sheep/
Glad you’re back.
Did you see this one from a couple weeks ago? http://www.givinguponperfect.com/2010/01/we-all-have-pain-we-all-have-sorrow.html
Working through more and more of my “crud” … it helps to know the power to persevere comes from the Lord:

Not mine, but for all of you writers, Billy Coffey explains his “wandering eye” here: http://bit.ly/ciK3lW
Oh, I’m with you on the google reader number….except I have such a hard time just deleting them! I like to check things off…
http://bahava.wordpress.com/2010/02/17/life-is-a-work-of-art/
Anyway, here’s my post for the week
I’m with bahava… I’m behind, but I can’t stand deleting them and wondering what I’ve missed! Checking them off is too satisfying
Here’s the one that meant the most to me this week: http://gitzengirl.blogspot.com/2010/02/hands-and-feet.html
But if people check out today’s post they can win MPT’s book!
Glad you’re back! Loved your guest posts too : )
Here’s my post of the week!

Luvs!
Tam thanks so much for this simple little post today. I’ve been extremely blessed.
I had a few this week that I thought might be read-worthy but this is probably the best of the batch: http://www.spintheaxis.com/post/2010/02/18/God-doesnt-want-our-best.aspx
Glad to see you settling back in.
I have a post to pimp
http://www.girlygazette.com/2010/02/spread-the-love/
It’s so great to be surprising blessed by the goodness of strangers.
So it seems my average the last three months is one post a month. ha! Eh, better than nothing.

P.S. We’re coming home last two weeks of May. Yeah!
Welcome back – Tam… Here are mine:
http://bajanpoet.wordpress.com/2010/02/09/welcome-to-the-hand-of-god/ – A Landing Page that gives a couple links (ok, over 20!) digging into my archives!
and these posts are my latest personal devotions where the Lord spoke to me quite clearly from His word:

and the other one directly after that…

I wrote about creepy people and it made everyone worried that they are in fact creepy.

In case you are wondering…yes, you are creepy!
Love this. And my google reader is out of control.
Wish I had written something better this week to post…….but here is one:

I am ignoring my blog post for this week to share a video. It was shown at church yesterday.
and it was amazing; its about 10 min
