hockey, ice dancing and milking cows
ive never watched a hockey game before in my life.
until sunday night. canada vs usa.
wow! i am definitely hooked. that is some intense stuff.
i found it rather funny after having watched 30 minutes of players crashing into each other, shoving and brutally pushing one another into the wall with force that would shatter every bone in my body; that they would stop the game for tripping.
up until that moment i had no idea there were even rules in this game. total definition of chaos. loved it!
and now we’re on to ice dancing. not our favorite. but curling has become a slight interest. its more like a fascination. similar to witnessing a butterfly exit its cocoon. only not as pretty.
anyhoo…if you could add a “sporting” event to the olympics – what would it be?
mine? oreo eating contest.
yup. that simple. only you have to eat them without the use of your hands and take the cookie apart to eat the frosting first. the advanced round would include retrieving milk from a cow to go with the oreos. also, without the use of your hands.

Golf. On ski’s. And I’d keep the ball white. I might concider being nice and make it beep or something if you whistle.

Well we might have to allow women in so I wouldn’t win GOLD every year…..cuz, well, I AM quite gifted in the area. Oh and in this sport, you don’t wanna win the “bronze” medal

As an office worker (most of the time), I think paper toss should be added. I’m great on the iPhone, less so in real life…
i love the paper toss app. the best thing about it, imo, is the background noise.

and i’m with you on the ice dancing. makes me wonder why they don’t just add ball room dancing to the summer olympics. it’s essentially the same thing, minus the ice and skates…
olympic event: vocalizing. points are scored on creativity, range (high and low), and longevity of phrase in one breath.

Also, I’m not a big fan sports, as you may already know, but I went to a hockey game last year and it was awesome! The fighting was the best!

I am missing the Olympics. They don’t show any of it here, as Israel has 3 people there and 2 of them are couple skaters. haha!
