    Hi all….

I apologize for the interruption, but I wanted to send a prayer request and since Tam’s blog is an information highway, I thought this was the place to do it.

Probably most of you have heard about the Boy Scout camp in Iowa that was hit by a tornado last night. Well, one of the boys who was killed is the son of a friend of one of my girlfriends. Please keep the families of these boys in your prayers: Sam Thomsen, 13; Josh Fennen, 13; Aaron Eilerts, 14; and Ben Petrzilka, 14.

Ben is the boy I was speaking of.

    Thanks everybody!!
    Love and Hugs!

Reminds me of all the hand clapping games we used to play in elementary school. “Miss mary mack, mack, mack…”

So,,,,, There is alot of talent in Tam’s house.
BTW, I saw ur doggy walking back and forth. It will be very funny if he/she learns the trick too!

  53. June 12, 2008 7:53 pm

You are a cool mom! Your kids are blessed to have you!

  54. June 12, 2008 8:16 pm

that is one of my all-time favorite things. i learned it when i was on my first mission trip when i was 14 (i can still picture myself setting at the lunch table in nicaragua, learning this). i can assure you that it took me much longer to learn it than it took you!

the best part is a huge group of people doing it and passing the cups all around the circle. loud, rhythmic goodness.

  55. June 12, 2008 8:19 pm

    Very nicely done Tam….

I will have to show this to my Daughter when I get home from my business trip.

She will insist to learn it this weekend… On second thought…. 😉 Just Kidding we will have fun learning it. Don’t know if I will be brave enough to post a video though.

  56. June 12, 2008 8:51 pm

    That is so cute!!!

  57. June 12, 2008 9:24 pm

So, I’ve been fighting the urge to do this all day. 😕

  58. June 12, 2008 11:18 pm

    Brandy…do it…come to the dark side 🙂

  59. June 13, 2008 6:34 am

Oh, lawdie, I did that with teenagers when we were youth pastors. Brings back a ton of memories.

  60. June 13, 2008 7:55 am

So B, where’s the video of you doing it? 😯

  61. June 13, 2008 8:45 am

I taught them all, they showed you how they do, so in a way, you saw me do it 🙂

  62. June 13, 2008 9:16 am

    That was such fun!!

We’re gonna do this – great summer activity – we might get it learned before the school starts. 😆

  66. June 13, 2008 11:43 pm

Tam, Hun? you know i love you…. BUTT…

..if you are going to give that Mandy Girl such ‘ammunition’ as the title of this post well… i just don’t know what to say…
i mean it’s not like the young’un needs ANY encouragement to be mean to you now does she???

you are being what is known in the trade.. as an ‘enabler’… it’s so not good for Mandy for you to do that.. just a little thought before you type is all i’m sayin’ – ‘k?

    We still bud’s?

And the video was fantastic – what a wonderful family unit you guys all are… i’m still waiting for you and B dueting though… someone told me he has a good singing voice??? 😉

i am not letting this ‘go’ btw. 🙂

This Video is my all-time favourtie so far 🙂

Kass and Kota – you guys amaze me every time with your talent and positive energy!

  68. June 15, 2008 7:23 am

    Hi Tam!

    Your family is awesome!

Congrats, too! It didn’t take you very long to learn the trick.
