    Good point though… whatever happens happens and there’s nothing you can do about it… Good thing we (should) know the consequences of our choices right?

    Pretty sobering thought…..i think we forget about the consequences of our choices too often and that is why we end up making the choices that we do.

    There are unchangeable consequences to all of our choices – there are changeable consequences to most of our choices as well.

    if I break into your home and violate your feeling of being secure I cannot change what happened – but if I am repentant I could at least make monetary restitution.

    If we violate God’s law we suffer consequences, but his grace covers a multitude of sins. That is why we sing Amazing Grace!

    this isnt my quote. i took it from a commentary and it just pierced me. for me, it brings together much of what we’ve been discussing in the last post. it is heavy. it is reality. it is something i wish so desperately more people truly considered.

    annie – a couple times a week i try to get through my blog roll a section at a time. i also use google reader. i absolutely LOVE visiting my blog friends and i wish i could sit here all day and visit everyone, ya know? oh, and i am terrible about adding people to my roll. so im off now to add you while im thinking of it…

    anyone else who isnt on there please let me know 😉

    This morning I was taking the dogs to the kitchen…(normal routine at 5:00am) and they were like whining and barking and grrr, it usually isn’t a pleasant situation for me…thus why they get kicked out of the bedroom and into the kitchen (there is a dog door there so they can escape to get outside from there). Anyways I am so grumpy when I take them in the mornings. So today when I was fighting them down the hallway I was praying and God was like…yeah, this is NOT how I feel about you. I love you and even though you fight and whine and bark at me and all the issues because you don’t want to “go into the kitchen” every morning…I love you more then you know. Yup…that’s how my day started.

    no arguement from me there ( yet?)

    Sometimes the ‘choice’ can be between being ignorant or being WISE ( different to having knowledge)… or bewteen serving Him and being ‘self’-serving (of our egos/flesh).

    all have their own consequences – fight as hard as we may to believe otherwise.

    How aware we want to be of who and what we serve and how we do so and the consequences of our choice – is up to each one of us.

    Awareness and true understanding of what is True – what is real and what is ‘false’… is – i believe – the key for me.

    Freedom – most often is a ‘relative’ thing
    few if any are ever truly free in this world.

    Nice ideal – almost non-existant in reality – only in relativity.
