Um. I was born in 78, and children don’t develop their memory ’til like after 2, so… I don’t remember. πŸ˜‰

Laptop. Dell. Inspiron E1505 – slow. But I have ram.

Recently? not at all… Thanksgiving + the redneck cold from hell = no exercise. But regularly? 2 or 3 a week.

Use an iMac version 10.5.5, processor 1.9GHz PowerPC G5 w/1.5 GB DDR2 SDRAM.
Live inland,an hour from the beach.
Try to walk or ride bike each day.

70’s show? Um, rather not admit I know any and prove that I am old, thanks.

Computer? A non-mac. Does that get me booted from here?

BEACH. I live inland, but I long for the beach.

Exercise? Some weeks 5 days; Some months, nothing.

Your twitter recap? I’m glad you survived the pool man and mystery child.

  5. December 13, 2008 7:58 am

Like Mandy, I was born in ’78…
Right now (I’m at work) I’m using a Dell Optiplex GXZ280
Inland? I live on an ISLAND…. Does that count? πŸ˜† We don’t have inlands ….
    Exercise? uh… what????

  6. December 13, 2008 8:10 am

70’s? Emergency and the original Battlestar Galactica. Not nearly as good as the current one, but cool in it’s own right. Star Trek was sixties all the way.

Acer Aspire 3001. Three years of hard abuse and still pluggin along. At work, a super-de-duper dual core Optiplex with a gazillion gig of memory. What did they think I was doing when they bought that?

I have never in my life lived more than five miles from the Long Island Sound. That said, I’m strangely not much of a beach person.

I walked to the kitchen just now…

    Favorite 70’s tv show-Loveboat

    Computer-Acer Aspire 5520

Live inland but love the beach

    Exercise-lately none

  13. December 13, 2008 12:15 pm

So… I love your twitter it was hilarious especially your pool man story though I know you didn’t think it as hilarious living through it…

I have no clue what shows came on in the 70’s… does That 70’s show count??? LOL πŸ™‚ I’ma 80’s/90’s baby (’86)

I have a HP Pavilion dv2000 laptop that is currently functioning as a desktop because I dropped it and broke the monitor in May (thankfully thats pretty much all that broke) that I want to replace with a MAC because MAC’s are awesome though quite expensive and on a good day I have about 70 MB of free memory after running the disk cleanup a million times… The recommended free memory is 200 MB…

I’ve always dreamed of living on the beach just to see the sunrise/set depending on which coast I’ll end up living on AND I just love the sound of the crashing waves.. its so soothing

Currently I exercise once a week though it needs to be more because I am still badly out of shape and in need to lose some weight…

  14. December 13, 2008 12:16 pm

brenda – 4 or 5??? you are my hero!

i got on my elliptical 2 days ago for 15 minutes and my booty still hurts 😯

  15. December 13, 2008 12:19 pm

ashley – you can get into a good MacBook laptop for around a 1,000. and for what you get…its very competitive.

im with you on the exercise thing. i need to more for my health. having lupus and nearly no muscle anymore (from not exercising regularly) it would be so good for health, energy and strength.

  16. December 13, 2008 12:21 pm

ramsey – i totally forgot about the Loveboat. wow. that was actually a pretty smutty show. but i saw right passed that when i was, oh…6. ha!

ok. so im thinking the majority of us really need to get serious about this exercise stuff.

K, I read the thing about the squeaky noise when you rub your eyes, but I keep trying and it wont work 😦 thats just sad.

  18. December 13, 2008 2:53 pm

Exercise? Exercise? I don’t need no stinkn exercise!!

I just go to work. I’m 54 years old and in much better shape than most 52 year olds! πŸ™‚

Seriously, my physical last year… my Dr. told me I should live to be a hundred years old if I keep going like I am. I guess that’s a good thing if I can get used to going to funerals.

  19. December 13, 2008 3:05 pm

Fav show in the 70’s – Speed Racer LOL, reruns of dragnet(just the facts mam), Star Trek

    Computer- Sony Vaio-laptop

Just joined a gym, hoping to go three times a week..mmmmmm at least twice.

  20. December 13, 2008 3:07 pm

Tam I didn’t know you had lupus. I should read more often. I have fibromyalgia and since I moved my back REALLY wrong the other night, I keep telling my husband that I feel like I have been on the elliptical for two days straight (hiney and thighs feel exactly like they have been torn on the elliptical). You are right. I so need to fight the pain and get my body where I can exercise again. It makes a huge difference in managing the fibromyalgia, it just requires so much persistence to break through to that place of being able to do it consistently. I have been wearing workout clothes for two days in an effort to get back in the mindset. I’ll let you know if I actually work out. πŸ˜‰

Since you have lupus, tell me, does Gitz’s blog help you tremendously, or what?

what is your favorite show you watched in the 70’s? Love Boat, All in the Family, The Jeffersons, The Waltons, M*A*S*H, Dukes of Hazzard, Dallas, Bionic Woman, Hart to Hart, Happy Days, Alice, Charlie’s Angels, Facts of Life, Different Strokes, Mork and Mindy, 8 is Enough, Fantasy Island, Benson, One Day at a Time, Knots Landing, WKRP, Little House, CHiPs (hello, Eric Estrada…) πŸ™‚

what kind of computer do you have? A ssslllloooowwww refurbished HP laptop… did I mention ssslllloooowwww?

beach or inland? I’d give my right arm to be on a beach or at a lake.

how often do you exercise? I used to be an exercise fanatic… more than once a day every day. Now, I don’t think what I do actually counts as exercise since I doubt I burn a calorie. I do some degree of physical therapy every day. Amazingly, the incentive to keep moving is not as motivating as losing weight. Just keeping it real.

@Anita: πŸ™‚ Would you like to do all my PR?

  22. December 13, 2008 4:08 pm
