Slip on shoes for the airport. Take only a carry on if you can. $15 a bag is spendy. Wear a light jacket so you can use it for a blankie if you need to. Theirs are icky. Buy a drink in the airport. Most airplanes are charging $2 per non alcoholic drink now. Most of my other advice is about traveling w/ little ones. You don’t need that advice.

Have fun! Can’t wait to see the tweets from next week.

Keep an extra pair of undies in your carry-on, just in case you lose your luggage.

    …Wait…. Never mind.

regardless of how attached you’ve gotten to it, bringing that fake hand grenade through security check is never, ever a good idea…

Pack waaaay more clothes than you think you’ll actually need. You’ll want a fresh new look for every event and occasion. 🙂
Don’t forget your ipod for the plane ride.
    Don’t forget your camera.
    Don’t forget your Bible.

I have a tiny hot pink swiss army knife that I carry in my purse. It’s super handy… little scissors, nail file, etc. I forgot to leave it at home once and remembered just before walking through security. Doh! Thankfully, the gift shop had a prepaid envelope and I was able to mail it home. So…

… be sure to leave your pocket knives at home.

    HAVE FUN!!!

Eat before you get on the plane, ’cause they want $5 for that miniature snack.

Leave your bass drum pedal at home, ’cause it’ll put you over the weight limit.

Avoid saying, “Yo yo, dat’s da BOMB!!” while going through security.

Lift your hands on take-off and landing and shout, “Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!”

Repeatedly ask to visit the cockpit.

I have more, but don’t want to overwhelm you.

Oh, and have a great time!
