back to my other life…

February 9, 2009

as much as i miss my kiddos…and, really, i miss them a ton…it will be very hard for me to leave nashville today.

the hard part is more than just having to leave an amazing city. it’s having to leave the people here. the friends we’ve made. friends who now are more like family to me.

i’m having a hard time articulating how i really feel. cause, honestly, i’ve not experienced a sense of community like this in a very long time.

to all you amazing people i’ve met this week…thank you. thank you for sharing your life with me, for welcoming me into yours, for showing true southern hospitality and even for rubbing off a little of that twang onto me πŸ˜‰

wilson family…you have totally blown me away. i am humbled and honored to have been able to be a part of your family this week. words can not describe what’s in my heart for each of you. i love you.

kass and kota…mama’s coming home!

praying for you and B and your traveling, but even more for your peace..don’t know why, meeting bloggers is like meeting long lost family, and leaving them leaves a painful void..hard to articulate..yet beautiful and would do it all again..love you, thinking about you, and lifting you to the ONE who can actually touch you where you are. XOXOXOXO

Better make sure that Mexican family of 13 you rented Mom’s room out to for a little extra pocket money this past week are out by midnight! πŸ˜‰

Oh! and remember to take down the ‘Skating Rink – $15/hour’ sign down too and check no kids fell through the ice into the pool! πŸ™‚

And have the Speedway returned Dad’s Suzuki from the Demolition Derby yet?

    (Dad and) Mom’s Comin’!

Make it back home safe Tam.

Kass & Kota are nice, responsible kids. Aren’t they? Of course that do have their own band so if you do find Duke hiding in the closet you might have a few questions for them to answer.

It is great to hear what a super week you guys had. That you made a lot of new friends, but then that is something you are very good at.

Ornery???? what DOES that word mean?

I was a MODEL of decorum (and shyness) as a child.

I’m makin’ up for it now tho’ πŸ˜‰ πŸ˜›

Welcome home Safe ‘n Sound, Hun – we (i) missed you – sort of.

(by ‘sort of’ I mean you were never really ‘gone’ – ok?) πŸ™‚

Glad you loved our city. OK, ignorant question here…do you still ramble about in Oregon? What part?
I am from the beloved northwest and grew up in WA. Don’t miss the rain but miss some other things.
